A man in his 20s was arrested as a red-light criminal after driving a vehicle while intoxicated and crashing into a patrol car blocking his escape route.

According to the police, Mr. A, a man in his 20s, is suspected of driving about 5km in the Odeung-dong area of Jeju City while drinking at around 1:55 a.m. today (19th).

The police arrived after receiving a witness report and asked Mr. A to stop the vehicle. Mr. A did not respond and started running away.
